Tickets: You can buy ½ price season tickets. Great deal! See Shawn, in ticket office, if you want tickets more tickets. You will get enough for immediate family.

Coaches and families get into other all sports for free, except basketball, by showing ID or business card. Basketball, you can get season tickets for free ($1000 value), but they are taxed or you can buy individual half price tickets.

Out of Town Games

Travel Information: Our Wives Trip is scheduled for Notre Dame. If you want to travel on other out of town trips, please ask your husband to inform Director of Operations. He will mail us itinerary for each game weekend.

Wives Trip and Travel: The VIP bus departs before the team bus. Be Early. We depart early sometimes. I plan to arrive at least 45 minutes before departure to allow for any hiccups. The dress is Casual Chic to Business Attire on the plane. On the way home, sweats or whatever you wore to game. We will have dinner together on the evening before the game.

Info on Your Players

Find out who your husbands position players are. Pray for them. What a great impact it will make. For some of our players, you may be the only one praying for them. For some it might be the first time in their lives that someone has prayed for them as an individual. Also, get to know them and keep us informed if we need to add special prayer to our list. The media guide has a nice overview of each player.

Make sure everyone in your family knows that what they post is what the world sees. Make sure you are aware of NCAA compliance information and share with family.

Home Games

Case Center Pass list needs to be given to Tammi by Wednesday of each week.

Parking: Each Coach gets an additional parking pass for spouse for the VIP lot that is located just west of the stadium. You will need to come down Delaware to access the lot. You will not be able to access the lot from Harvard on game day.

Pre-game, Touchdown Tailgates: RSVP to Megan Muessner if you plan on attending pre-game meal and any extra tickets you would like to buy. The administration lets our immediate family eat at pre-game meal.

Recruits on game day: Each home game, go up to the third floor about 1.5 before game to help your husbands recruit. You are vital to the process. We will probably have recruits at every home game. Get to know committed recruits and their parents and introduce yourself to potential recruits and share info about our program. Ask you husband for details about who is coming into town that weekend and kids you need to focus your attention on. Going to college is a scary, the more people they know the more comfortable they are.

Say Hi to Parents: I also try to say hello to the parents before the game at the Gates tailgate that is located across from stadium.

Run Out: Kids can go out on field for run out. Arrive at gate outside of helmet about 15 minutes before game time to participate. Tell your friends to be apart of the fun.

Coaches’ Wives Suite: You and kids are all invited to suite on third floor to watch the game. Children are welcome to stay in suite as long as an adult supervises them. The Deans and Letterman are our neighbors, so no wrestling or king of the hill. Your extended families are welcome to watch from coaches’ suites, but we would like everyone in stands yelling as much as possible.

Comp Tickets: Sometimes, we have additional tickets that can be given out. Your husbands must turn in tickets request by Wednesday. You will know by Friday what tickets are available. Make sure you tell everyone who receives a comp ticket that they can only wear Tulsa gear or neutral colors and cannot cheer for opposing team.

You are a voice. Know that people are watching you and what you say. Please make sure you are always positive about coaches, players and team.

Get to know your support team: Please take a minute during the game to say hello to any Alumni/Letterman/Administration that you may see. These folks are our support system. They are vital to the program.

Post-Game Off: This year, we want to focus on getting team and coaches into locker room fast, so spend time with family and they can start to work on the next game. We have really tight schedules this year, every minute will count. Ask your families to visit with husbands in the office, once off the field.

Poster/Magnets/Schedules – The Media Department in August will have lots of marketing materials. They would love for you to help distribute to local business to help get people to the games.

On-line Media Guide

Media guides are a great place to get to know your players, TU football history and fellow coaches- this year the medial guide will only be online.

Radio Show-Monday,

Every week, Mondays, different day if conflicts schedule, at 7pm, Todd’s radio show is at TK’s on Utica. We always have some great alumni and fans there. I know they are tired of me, so try to join us one week. I would love to introduce you to these great people who show up to support our team.

NCAA Compliance

If you ever have a question about rules, please call so we can get the answer. The rules change constantly. Make sure you are as informed as possible.

Practice Schedule

They will provide us with a practice schedule, but check with your husbands, because they are always subject to change. Practices are closed. If you plan to bring anyone besides your family, please check with Director of Operations prior to practice.

Marketing:

You can play a role for games and camp. I encourage everyone to buy season tickets, take schedules to events, take schedules to local offices, and speak at events. The more people we have at the games the more money your families have the potential to make. The University of Tulsa isn’t paid for wins, but for how many people pay to watch.

Last year, we adopted a family for a year instead of giving each other birthday and Christmas presents, during our wives dinner in August we will discuss.

The most extensive Defensive Back camp in the country!! This is a Camp for youngsters in grades 9-12 who want to learn and develop techniques that will help them improve their football skill. Participants will be instructed on the finer points of Defensive Back play by Former NFL and Collegiate Athletes.
